Shukun Luo

Principal Scientist Regeneron

Dr. Shukun Luo is a Principal Scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he works as a formulation scientist focusing on in silico developability assessment and formulation development of biologics across early and late development stages. His work integrates sequence‑ and structure‑based property prediction, molecular modeling, and experimental characterization to enable risk‑informed formulation strategies and improve biologic manufacturability and stability.

Dr. Luo received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, followed by postdoctoral training in the Department of Biology at Columbia University. He subsequently served as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in China for three years, where his research focused on molecular‑level mechanisms governing protein behavior. In 2022, he transitioned to industry and joined Regeneron, applying his academic training to develop computational and experimental frameworks that support biologic developability assessment and formulation decision‑making throughout the drug development lifecycle.
